Denomination of
Origin: Vino de la Tierra de Castilla.
Grape Varieties: 100% Tempranillo.
Alcohol Content: 13%.
Ageing: 9 months in American oak (light
toast, 100% second year).
Winemaking: Fermentation at a controlled
temperature of between 22 and 27oC with natural yeast. Induced malolactic
fermentation in American oak barrels followed by 9 months of aging.
Total Acidity: 5,20 gr/l.
pH: 3,50.

CASTIBLANQUE is a family-owned estate in Castilla-La Mancha, comprised
of a recently renovated winery situated in a XIXth century cellar and
120 hectares of vineyards planted with Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Syrah, Garnacha, Chardonnay, Macabeo, Airén and other experimental
varieties.
Tasting notes:
Color: Clean and intense with intense
ripe cherry color.
Nose: Good aromatic intensity releasing
notes of spicy pepper, wood, coconut and moderately toasted vanilla.
Mouth: Well balanced and round with
hints of oak and orange rind. Pleasant silky, well-integrated tannins.
Serving temperature: 18°-20°
C.
Food pairing: Excellent with lamb
and beef roasts. Good companion for your savory and hard cheese selection.
